Greetings once more...
I am curious to know how many of you have fire sticks, or have played with or made their own fire sticks. I'm in the process of perfecting my first pair, and any ideas would be helpful. My biggest problem seems to lie in a decent middle grip that won't burn...my preference is to have a fire version of a flower stick.

Re: Fire Sticks
Thu, October 21, 2004 - 10:57 PMI have made my own fire devil sticks before but I finally gave up & decided that buying a pair was easier & just as expensive. www.seriousjuggling.com has fire devil sticks made by MR. Babache & they start at $25!! (cheap compared to dube & radical fish fire devil sticks- $50). But i can say that I used friction tape for my grip on my hand sticks & middle stick. Friction tape is cheap & can be found at any hardware store next to the electrical tape!! Good luck -

Sat, April 23, 2005 - 7:19 PMI was just looking for fire sticks on the internet and Dube's looked to be the best.
I use to play with a flower sticks years ago! I play with fire now and was thinking that I could grab thoses sticks again. But I have no idea of what is happening in the stick world these days :o)
So for fire sticks, do you think I go ahead whith a DUBE's?
Would you recommend it??

Sun, April 24, 2005 - 2:57 AMwell dube makes a pretty heavy fire devil stick- it is also a pretty "fast" stick so you gotta know what yer doing. But if you were looking for a good fire devil sticxk that acted more like a flower stick- then I recomend Mr Babache fire devil stick. They are the shit- -

Re: Fire Sticks
Mon, April 25, 2005 - 9:27 AMwww.hotstix.biz makes some fire stix out of remodeled crystal stix. they are awesome because they have the silicone grip on the outside. reasonably priced at $60, too!
i love mine. they are weighty but worth it because of the grip. my experience is that the other models of fire stix get very slippery when they get fuel on them. these have plenty of space before the actuaal stick part so the fuel never gets on the stick.
allow a few weeks for shipping. the guy is nice! -

Re: Fire Sticks
Mon, May 9, 2005 - 3:39 AMIf you aer worried about getting fuel on fire-devil sticks, you can start by making a fire-ball, it gets rid of fuel, be careful which way the wind is blowing, you don't want a fireball to come back at you!!!!
